G. Harold Duffey is a municipal government professional with extensive experience managing city operations, public works, infrastructure, and community programs across California. G. Harold Duffey’s career has included leadership positions with the cities of Compton, Grand Terrace, and Oakland, where he has overseen complex services and major public initiatives.

From 2012 to 2014, Mr. Duffey served as the city manager of Compton, responsible for the city's daily operations and workforce. During his tenure, he helped address the city's fiscal challenges and worked on programs involving pavement management and tree maintenance. He also administered the city's contract with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Mr. Duffey subsequently served as the city manager of Grand Terrace from 2014 to 2021. His responsibilities included preparing for city council meetings, developing municipal budgets, and conducting employee evaluations. During this period, he contributed to initiatives including the MIDAS program, a community dog park, pavement condition management, senior transportation services, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and COVID-19 relief programs.

In Oakland, Mr. Duffey served as the public works director from 2021 to 2024, overseeing sewer, storm drain, and solid waste services while managing approximately $200 million in capital improvement projects. He later became assistant city administrator, overseeing public works, transportation, and homelessness initiatives.
